Some days I feel as though this life is wedged between two tremendous ones, one past and one not yet lived. I can feel the shapes of them through the skin of this present body, pushing hard against my heart and hands. There are the impressions of beautiful things and of horrible things in equal measure. And them some days, I feel as though I am entirely here, entirely in the moment. My hands are empty, and my sleep is dreamless.
Detail from Sirens. Ink and Graphite.
